, Feb 13 (ANI): R and B singer Rihanna has reportedly told cops in her testimony that this was not the first time that Chris Brown physically abused her.

Although The 'Umbrella' hitmaker revealed that Brown has always had a terrifying temper and abused her earlier as well, she did not give out the details about the prior incidents, reports TMZ.com.

Brown allegedly badly bruised Rihanna, after they had an argument in their Lamborghini over a text message from other woman.

Rihanna was left unconscious after Brown allegedly choked her after leaving her with a split lip, a bloody nose and bite marks on her hands.

However, after much speculation over the alleged incident, few people are trying to portray Rihanna as the aggressor, as TMZ.com revealed citing the police report, that she enraged Brown when she "faked a call" and said something like "he's dropping me off," and "make sure the cops are there."

That's when Brown spat out, "I'm going to kill you," TMZ TMZ Transponder Mandatory Zone (aviation)
TMZ Thirty-Mile Zone (around Hollywood)

These reports have not gone down well with the music industry, as majority people suggest that Rihanna was a victim in the incident and not the attacker.

"It's all bogus. Someone is trying to portray her as the aggressor. She's no shrinking violet, but there's no reason to believe she went crazy," the New York Daily News New York Daily News

Meanwhile, Brown has appointed Michael Jackson's former losing lawyer Mark Geragos to represent him, who declined to comment on the whole issue. (ANI)
