H. C. Price Co.

David L. Matthews has been promoted to vice president and Alaska general manager for H.C. Price Co., an international construction company specializing in pipeline maintenance. Matthews started his pipeline and heavy mechanical construction career in Alaska during the construction of the trans-Alaska oil pipeline. In 1981, he joined H.C. Price Co. After three years as a field engineer and project engineer, he was promoted to project manager, a position he held until 1998 when he assumed the responsibilities of general manager of the Alaska division.

Anchorage Economic Development Corp.

Jeff Pokorny joined the Anchorage Economic Development Corp. as research director. Jane Godfrey was promoted to manager of visitor information and human resources The fancy word for "people." She previously was in the visitor services department from 1988 to 1996. She returned in 1999 as manager of visitor information. Leah Shepherd is the new operations manager See datacenter manager.  for the bureau. She was promoted from secretary/accounts receivable. Karen Lane was hired as the membership manager. Robert Wholecheese joined the staff as communications coordinator. Terry Saddler joined the conventions department as its coordinator.

Westmark Hotels

Dawn Harmon was appointed regional sales manager for Westmark Hotels. Harmon, a resident of Fairbanks for the past 11 years, was the director of human resources and marketing for the Fairbanks Wendy's restaurant franchise. Prior to Wendy's, Harmon was the manager of the Comfort Inn Chena River.

R&M Consultants Inc.

Barbara Meekins joined R&M Consultants to manage services related to project right of way and land acquisition functions. Meekins was a senior acquisition and relocation agent with the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities. She is a member of the International Right of Way Association and serves as the Northwest Region chair.

Prudential Jack White Real Estate

Stacy Hague was named marketing coordinator with Prudential Jack White Real Estate. In 1998, Hague joined Prudential Jack White Real Estate as a residential administrative assistant. She previously was an administrative assistant with the Pribilof School District. Nancy Shamburg was named office coordinator for the company's Anchorage office. She joined Prudential Jack White Real Estate as a commercial administrative assistant in 1993. John Blaine was appointed to the president's council at Prudential Jack White Real Estate. Blaine, a residential sales associate, will represent all of the firm's residential sales staff.

Elizabeth Holland was named office coordinator for Prudential Vista Real Estate's Anchorage office. Holland joined Prudential Vista in 1999 as a receptionist/administrative assistant.
