Riese Organization opens new restaurant near Penn Station.


The Riese Organization--one of the largest restaurant and real estate management companies in the Northeast--continues a proud 60-year tradition of quality service and innovative design with the opening of its newest restaurant, The Skybox sky·box

The restaurant, which opened on July 11, is located at a prime spot in the heart of one of Manhattan's busiest transportation and shopping hubs, at 416 8th Ave. (at 31st Street)--directly across from Madison Square Garden Coordinates:

 and the city's main post office (soon to be the new Penn Station).

The property consists of two floors--each totaling 2,000 SF, with the roof-top dining area covering 1,300 SF of the second floor--occupies the space formerly held by the Penn Bar and is under an initial lease term for ten years.

The 177-seat restaurant includes a full-service bar and features a unique climate controlled 80-seat canopy covered roof-top dining area that offers an escape from the daily grind Daily Grind could refer to:
