Rimage/eCabinet Solution provides SEC-Compliant

archiving and easy retrieval

(RSV) and Rimage (Nasdaq:RIMG) today announced the availability of a simple, end-to-end solution for corporate workgroups that need affordable SEC-compliant capture, storage and retrieval of critical business information and correspondence. The Rimage/eCabinet solution provides WORM-compliant SEC archiving and retrieval to companies who need to securely save critical business information and correspondence, while also meeting stringent document retention requirements. This solution will be on display at AIIM this week in San Francisco, March 6-8, 2002, in booth #2111.

The key elements of the Rimage/eCabinet solution include:

-- Ricoh Silicon Valley's intelligent electronic file cabinet, eCabinet, serves
as the solution's information capture, indexing and retrieval platform. Using
TCP/IP, and browser-based technology, eCabinet captures a digital copy to the
eCabinet internal hard drive and archives to the Rimage Desktop Series of
automated CD publishers. Full content and keyword search allows for simple
end-user retrieval. RSV's eCabinet allows companies to easily capture and
archive all SEC regulated information (fax, email, letters, etc.) access and
share paper and electronic documents with the characteristic ease-of-use and
power that distinguishes all of Ricoh's digital office products.

-- Based on triggers such as folder size, time of day, or other parameters,
Rimage's Desktop CD publishers automatically back up captured data from
eCabinet on a CD and print a custom label directly to the surface of the disc
for easy identification of content. Once installed and configured, the
Rimage/eCabinet solution provides unattended archiving with minimal ongoing
administration, even when archiving from multiple eCabinets. Rimage Desktop
products are compatible with Ricoh Silicon Valley's eCabinet 1000 and 2000
Series products, and provide corporate workgroups with additional features
including CD publishing, printing, and duplication services.
