Business/Technology Editors
WEST CALDWELL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 2002--
Fully Featured & Competitively Priced FAX3310L Designed for
Mid-Sized Businesses & Workgroups
Ricoh Corporation, the Dependable Digital(TM) output company, has
launched the Ricoh FAX3310L mid-volume workgroup laser system.
By bolstering its fax offerings, Ricoh Corporation is aggressively
targeting its core customer base of mid-sized businesses and
workgroups, while adding features and benefits that better support the
communications requirements of larger companies.
Increased security is an major benefit of the Ricoh FAX3310L,
which features memory lock, which stores documents until an ID code is
entered, so that incoming messages do not sit openly in the output
tray and restricted access, which enables a company to track and
monitor fax usage.
The Ricoh FAX3310L combines productivity, ease-of-use and cost
savings by offering a standard 33.6Kbps Super G3 Modem with JBIG
Compression, a 50 page automatic document feeder and standard 3 MB
(240 pages) of memory (upgradeable to 1,500 pages) to ensure maximum
performance in the most demanding environments. The separate toner and
development units make for easy replacement and result in a lower
operating cost.
Other features of the FAX3310L include: a high-quality printer
option that provides a fast 15 page-per-minute print (ppm) speed and
true 600dots-per-inch (dpi) output that is available in either PCL5e/6
or PostScript Level II emulation and has a parallel or network
connection, parallel (or quick) memory transmission that begins to
send the fax after the first page has been scanned, 30 quick dial
keys, help list printing and user function keys for rapid recall of
frequently-used features.
The Ricoh FAX3310L is now available at a suggested retail price of
$2,295.
