Richard Eppel named corporate officer of Maxwell Laboratories.


SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 7, 1995--Maxwell Laboratories Inc. (NMS-"MXWL") announced Thursday that the board of directors has named Richard "Dick" Eppel, president of Maxwell's I-Bus division, a corporate vice president.

Said Dr. Alan C. Kolb, Maxwell's chairman and chief executive officer: "This step is undertaken with great satisfaction by all involved. Under Dick Eppel's leadership, the I-Bus division has grown profitably at an annual compound rate of 28% since it was acquired by Maxwell four years ago. Today, I-Bus is a leader in the marketplace for customized real-time commercial and industrial personal computer CPU's and enclosures for original equipment manufacturers applications."
