Rich Products celebrates 60 Delicious Years: rewards for Associates reflect company's spirit of innovation.

Rich Products Corp., headquartered in Buffalo, NY, kicked off a year-long celebration of "60 Delicious Years" as a family-owned company with a worldwide birthday party for Associates and customers March 14.

Using their multi-generational recipe for success as the foundation, the year-long party will include three layers of celebration:

* The company-wide "Party Around The World,"

* The launch of a unique Associate recognition program, and

* Lunch room renovations at every manufacturing facility.

All events integrate the company's guiding principles of innovation, creativity and commitment to family. Rich's Associates, customers and the company's 91-year-old founder, Robert E. Rich, Sr., will be central to the commemoration of this landmark year.

One Day-long Party Spans Nine States and 11 Countries

The "Party Around The World" will take place both domestically and abroad, in states such as Tennessee, California, Ohio, Texas, Georgia, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, and Illinois; and in countries such as South Africa, Russia, Mexico, Italy, Brazil, India, Korea, China, Canada, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.

Chairman Robert Rich, Sr., and other members of the Rich Family will visit selected locations to thank Associates for achieving their vision of "caring for customers like only a family can."

"The extraordinary members of Rich's Family of Associates from all parts of the world have shown tremendous commitment and passion to make this company successful. They are the motivation for this celebration," said Robert E. Rich, Sr. "Our 60th birthday celebrations are our chance to thank and recognize Associates for all that they've done to ensure the continued success of this company.

Associates Aim to Win Trip Anywhere in the World

Through Rich's "Going the Extra Mile," or GEM, recognition program, all Associates will be eligible for tiered levels of rewards based on the significance on the contribution being recognized. The highest reward level includes one extraordinary prize: the Associate or team of Associates selected for the company's "Robert E. Rich Spirit of Innovation Award" will receive a week-long, expenses-paid trip to anywhere in the world! Coworkers will select nominees based on commitment to Rich's core values and contribution to the company's success. The winner will be announced in December at Rich's Innovation Recognition event.

"This formal recognition program enables us to improve our ability to effectively recognize, celebrate and reward the outstanding contributions of our Associates," said Mindy Rich, Executive Vice President of Innovation at Rich Products. Rich Family Invests in Inspiration through Worldwide Renovation Program

In the past 60 years, Associates have given Rich's many gifts, primarily the gifts of their time, talent and dedication. The lunch room renovation program is a means for the company to give something back to Associates.

"As part of our family, it is important to us that Associates have a comfortable and inspiring place at work to relax, rejuvenate and recharge for the day's activities. Most often, the place we all head to for mid-day refueling is the break/lunch room," said Robert E. Rich, Jr., President, Rich Products Corp.

Throughout 2005, Rich's will be renovating and updating the break/lunch rooms at all manufacturing sites around the globe. While the renovations will include some common elements across sites, the project will incorporate Associate's suggestions and will reflect the individuality of each location and celebrate the company's geographic diversity and international scope.
