RiTA Server 3.0 Brings Merchants a Step Closer to Card Association Security Compliance.

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Enterprise-level transaction engine withstands rigorous security testing; expands purchasing card support

GO Software Inc., a subsidiary of Return On Investment Corporation (OTCBB: ROIE) and a leading provider of point-of-sale (POS) payment processing software, today announced the availability of RiTA Server(TM) version 3.0. The highly-scalable RiTA (Rapid Transaction Authority) Server supports more processing networks and transaction types, giving merchants additional options for cost-effective payment processing. The new version also passed a rigorous security assessment, providing added peace of mind to merchants facing card association security program compliance audits.

Ambiron, an independent information security advisory firm, conducted the application-level assessment of RiTA Server 3.0 to determine the security surrounding its storage and processing of cardholder data. RiTA 3.0 is the first application of its kind to be assessed against Visa's Payment Application Best Practices (PABP), a newly formalized compliance program for applications that process cardholder data. Ambiron found that the use of RiTA Server would not prohibit an entity from meeting CISP requirements when implemented into a secure environment, in accordance with industry best practices. A copy of Ambiron's post-assessment opinion letter is available on the GO Software website.

RiTA Server 3.0 also features new support for Purchasing Card Level III (line item detail) transactions on both the FDMS (Nabanco platform) and Vital processing networks. Processing line item detail enables merchants, particularly in business-to-business environments, to provide added value to their business customers.

A merchant API (Application Programming Interface) has been added to the new version. "One of our primary objectives is to make it easier for merchants to get transactions flowing," said Tony Abruzzio, executive vice president and general manager, GO Software. "The addition of a merchant API significantly simplifies the installation and configuration process, reducing the time it takes to go live."

Other significant enhancements include:

--Support for credit card, debit card, gift card and check verification transactions on the Fifth Third (MPS) processing network

--IP connectivity via NetConnect to the Paymentech Tampa processing network, providing an avenue for fast, secure transactions over the Internet

--IP connectivity via the Global VPN, which eliminates the need for a leased line or frame relay connection and enables merchants to process payments quickly and securely on the Global processing network

--Support for check verification and check authorization transactions on the Global processing network

--Support for restaurant (tip) transactions on the Nova processing network

--Support for debit card transactions on Vital processing network

Designed with speed, scalability and throughput in mind, RiTA Server is a cost-effective middleware payment application that can be integrated into any point-of-sale (POS), e-commerce, restaurant, MOTO (mail order/telephone order) or business-to-business environment application, regardless of operating system or development platform.
