) is pleased to announce that a high voltage silicon-carbide purification reactor has been completed by Rhombic's contracted scientists to enhance the removal of impurities from Gallium-Nitrate and Silicon-Carbide wafers.

Also, design work is near completion for a third generation reactor capable of handling larger wafers with higher impurity im·pu·ri·ty
n. pl. im·pu·ri·ties
1. The quality or condition of being impure, especially:
a. Contamination or pollution.

b. Lack of consistency or homogeneity; adulteration.

 rates.

During the first quarter of this year, three second generation diffusion reactors were completed for N-type semiconductor material, P-type diamond material and the purification of crystals. During the remainder of this second quarter, Rhombic's contracted scientists will be researching commercial applications for developing our wafer purification technology and the N-type diamond semiconductor material.

The N-type diamond semiconductor material is the cornerstone for diamond circuitry and has several superior qualities to silicon. Diamond semiconductor material has a transistor speed 32 times faster than silicon with higher resistance to host and radiation and chemical attack. These properties are particularly important to the satellite, computer and automotive Industry.

Research is continuing toward the development of the doped diamond fuel-cell electrode and the quality of diamond coloring. Rhombic's patented forced diffusion technology allows engineers to micro-engineer the properties of many materials. A large commercial market exists for special applications of micro-engineered properties in optics, mechanics, sensors, tooling, fabrication fabrication (fab´rikā´shn),
n the construction or making of a restoration.
and electronic devices, Microengineering the electrical properties of diamond has direct application to making electronic devices.

Rhombic is in discussions with consulting groups explaining how special microengineered materials using forced diffusion would have commercial applications.
