Rex-The Talking Prescription Bottle Successfully Being Used by Baptist Missionaries for Humanitarian Medical Efforts.

PITTSBURGH -- Wizzard Software (OTCBB:WIZD) and its subsidiary, MedivoxRx Technologies, announced today that Cornerstone Community Church, a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, has sponsored the first shipment of Rex-The Talking Bottle for a Medical Missionary relief effort. This mission was for Via Sion Los Andes (The Andes Vision).

The Andes Vision is a network of twenty churches and numerous volunteers, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists and every-day citizens, from across the United States. Taking a holistic evangelical approach, Via Sion Los Andes provides spiritual guidance and medical assistance to impoverished citizens of La Puerta, Venezuela and surrounding villages.

Cornerstone Community Church sends a team of up to 15 people, up to four times a year, to La Puerta, Venezuela. Coordinated by International Ministries, each Mission Trip lasts approximately twelve days. Some of the trips are medical missions while others focus on local mission work. On any given medical trip, they may treat as many as 500 people in a week as they travel from village to village.

Cornerstone also sends volunteers to help with church work as well as light construction on new buildings. Agricultural experts also attend to educate the local farmers on crop yields, soil conservation, and natural or organic farming, because the local people have seen a number of health problems associated with the use of some of the chemicals/fertilizers and pesticides. International Ministries encourages churches from different denominations to send members of their churches on the missions.

This particular mission was led by Pastor William Burton of Iglesia Bautista La Gran Comision (Great Commission Baptist Church) in Morristown, Tennessee, who coordinates the missions for International Ministries. He serves as Vice President of The Andes Vision and he coordinated this trip, which took place in June of this year.

"We used Rex in an area of Venezuela in the Andes mountains where there is very little or no access to health care," said Burton. "There is a lot of illiteracy, especially with the older population."

Before Rex was introduced to International Ministries, missionaries hand-wrote the instructions and directions for medication use in Spanish. Because the incidence of illiteracy is so high, they were never able to know whether or not the folks were actually taking their medications properly.

It can be used anywhere, even in the remote areas of the Andes Mountains.
