Reuters, the leading international news and financial information company, has signed a contract worth in excess of $15 million with Tivoli Systems Inc., for TME 10 (Tivoli Management Environment) software, the leading systems, network and applications management solution. Reuters, which provides news and real-time information to over 362,000 users worldwide, is to adopt TME 10 as its standard fully-integrated systems, network and applications management strategy across all of its major IT systems.

The Framework's applications programming interfaces are openly published, enabling users and vendors to "snap in" any API-compliant management solution.
