Reunion Industries Announces Receipt of Notice From the American Stock Exchange.

:RUN) announces that, on June 20, 2006, it received a letter ("Notice Letter") from the American Stock Exchange American Stock Exchange (AMEX)

The Notice Letter states that, in order to maintain its AMEX listing, the Company must submit a plan by July 20, 2006 (the "Plan") advising AMEX of action the Company has taken, or will take, that will bring it into compliance with Sections 1003(a)(i) and 1003(a)(iv) of the Company Guide by December 31, 2006, including specific milestones, quarterly financial projections and details related to any strategic initiatives the Company plans to complete.

The Company is in the process of preparing the Plan and intends to submit it by the deadline of July 20, 2006. AMEX will then review the Plan to determine whether or not the Company will be able to continue its listing. The Company feels confident that it will be able to demonstrate in such Plan that it will be in compliance with the AMEX listing standards at the end of this year.
