The suit names Linda and Robert Provost Sr.; their sons Gary Provost and Robert Provost Jr.; and Carol Provost, the wife of Robert Jr. Investigators believe that more than $334,000 was transferred from the savings of an 88-year-old man into an account controlled by Robert Provost Sr., who is alleged to have used the money to pay off car loans and buy a boat. Linda and Robert Provost Sr. have also been charged with three counts of grand larceny A category of larceny—the offense of illegally taking the property of another—in which the value of the property taken is greater than that set for petit larceny.
