) passed away, Feb. 2, 2003.

"Peter Dudish's professional career as a DAV National Service Officer spanned more than 41 years of successful service," DAV National Adjutant ADJUTANT. A military officer, attached to every battalion of a regiment. It is his duty to superintend, under his superiors, all matters relating to the ordinary routine of discipline in the regiment.  Arthur H. Wilson said. "During his tenure he gained the respect of associates, as well as thousands of veterans and dependents he advocated oil behalf of as he strived to build better lives for America's disabled veterans and their families.

Mr. Dudish was bony on April 24, 1923, in Hanover Township Hanover Township may refer to:

, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where he grew up and attended public schools, prior to enlisting and serving in the U.S. Army from February 1943 to June 1945.

Mr. Dudish was wounded in the throat, while serving as a member of the 15th Infantry Regiment near St. Die, France, during World War II.

 at the American University in Washington. D.C.. where he graduated as a member of Class IX. He was assigned additional training at the DAV National Service Office in Buffalo, N.Y, in March 1947, and later at the DAV National Service Office in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He worked at the Wilkes-Barre office the remainder of his DAV career and was promoted to National Service Officer in Charge of the office in 1964. He retired from the DAV on May 1, 1988.

Mr. Dudish was a life member of DAV Chapter 16, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Dudish's son, Daniel, daughters, Patricia and Diane; brothers, Frank and John; sisters, Evelyn Young and Catherine Habe; and several nieces and nephews survive him.
