Retailer still on prowl for space after 37,000 s/f B'way lease.

 & Associates Corporation, the exclusive broker for Loehmann's, is pleased to announce that the retailer has executed a lease for a new 37,000 s/f flagship store located at 2101 Broadway at West 73rd.

The company signed a sublease sublease n. the lease of all or a portion of premises by a tenant who has leased the premises from the owner. A sublease may be prohibited by the original lease, or require written permission from the owner.  for a two-story space currently occupied by Gristedes Supermarket.

Brian Katz, senior vice president of the Northeast Region for Katz & Associates represented Loehmann's in this transaction. Katz commented that it is so hard to come by big-box space, "we're reviewing anything that comes available."
