 Realty Advisors announced that it has secured a 15-year lease agreement for Los Angeles-based casual retailer, American Apparel American Apparel, LLC is a clothing manufacturer and retailer based in an 800,000 square foot factory in downtown Los Angeles, California. The company is most well known for making basic cotton knitwear such as t-shirts and underwear, but in recent years the product line has  to occupy 5,200 s/f of retail space at 142 Fifth Avenue.

The lease represents American Apparel's 11th store in Manhattan, and is part of the company's aggressive expansion plans. Located on the corner of 19th Street and Fifth Avenue, American Apparel will join neighboring neigh·bor

 retailers including Sephora, Club Monaco Club Monaco is an upscale clothing retailer with more than 65 stores in North America. Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Seoul, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Club Monaco plans to open stores in the United Kingdom and expand to Philadelphia, and Manila. , Searle, and J Crew.

John Brod and Devon Binns of PBS Realty Advisors represented American Apparel in the transaction. L&L Weiss, the landlord of 142 Fifth Avenue, was represented by Andy Weis and Robert Frost of Signature Partners. Asking rents in the Flatiron District area are $250 per square foot.
