The appointees include Pizza Hut co-founder Daniel M. Carney, Leland D. Putterman, who launched Oracle's Texas sales office and Richard A. Hosley II, who joined BMC software in 1980 as their first sales person.

He served as chairman of the board and president from 1956 to 1970 and continued as chairman of the board through 1973. Following the PepsiCo merger, Carney has directed his activity toward private investment and philanthropic activities. Born and raised in Houston, Leland D. Putterman helped launch Oracle's Texas sales office in 1985. After several management roles at Oracle, including sales management and vice president of product marketing, Putterman joined BMC Software in 1994. While at BMC he was vice president of marketing and later an executive officer of the company. In that role, Putterman helped the marketing organization grow from eight people to 275 people worldwide and watched sales jump from $288 million a year to over $1 billion. Leland retired from BMC in 1998 and currently invests in several Internet companies. He serves as vice chairman and a member of the board of directors for Service 911 and sits on the board of directors for BindView Development Corporation and CompuBank. Putterman graduated with honors from Princeton University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
