Restaurant eats up 11,000 s/f in Newark.


The Newark Restaurant Group has leased 11,000 square feet in the landmark 60 Park Place building in Newark, New Jersey, where it will open The Savoy Grill restaurant, announced Ira Bloom, director of commercial leasing for Kushner Properties Kushner Properties is a real estate developer in the New York City metropolitan area.

The company's biggest presence is in the New Jersey residential market. It also owns in the Puck Building in New York City.
, the commercial leasing and management division of Kushner Companies.

Kushner Companies serves as operating partner for the 21-story office tower, in a joint venture with Blackacre Capital Management.

As with all properties of the Newark Restaurant Group, 10 percent of net profits from The Savoy Grill will be donated to local charities including the Community Food Bank, Special Olympics Special Olympics

Tenants include Education Law Center; Mound, Cotton, Wollan & Greengrass; Government Lending; The Wight Foundation; Mid-City Duplicating; O.R. Colan Associates (ORC) and Hudson City Savings Bank savings bank, financial institution that, until recently, performed only the following functions: receiving savings deposits of individuals, investing them, and providing a modest return to its depositors in the form of interest. .
