I am in full agreement with you that tourism should not be "inherently exploitative." but rather focus on helping rather than hindering hin·der 1 v. hin·dered, hin·der·ing, hin·ders v.tr. 1. To be or get in the way of. 2. To obstruct or delay the progress of. v.intr. , as you so clearly stated. We are all one people, and when we exploit others we ultimately hurt ourselves on a higher level. Again, I thank you for your great article and your understanding of "responsible tourism" and respect of cultural differences.
