Resonate Names Richard Hornstein Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel.

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 29, 2002

Resonate, Inc. (Nasdaq:RSNT) the leading provider of award-winning service level management solutions for business-critical applications, today announced the appointment of Richard Hornstein as the company's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO See Chief Financial Officer. ) and General Counsel. As Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel, Richard will be responsible for all financial matters and legal affairs of the company and will report directly to Peter Watkins, Resonate's Chief Executive Officer and President.

Richard Hornstein was most recently CFO and General Counsel of Believe, Inc. Prior to Believe, Inc., he served as General Counsel and Senior Vice-President of Corporate Development at Network Associates. Richard has been a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  for the past 15 years, working as a manager at the Big 5 for 8 years. Additionally, Richard has been admitted to the Bar for the past 11 years and holds a BA degree in accounting from Queens College, a J.D. from Duke University School of Law The Duke University School of Law is the law school and a constituent academic unit of Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, United States.  and a Master of Laws Noun 1.
