Residential development, trends to be focus of breakfast panel.


Five preeminent real estate professionals will speak at a breakfast panel, sponsored by the New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 District Council of the Urban Land Institute, on the subject of "Residential Development: Opportunities and Trends in Manhattan."

The morning program, which will take place Thursday, Sept. 18, will include Steve Kohn (president, Sonnenblick-Goldman Company), the moderator, plus panel members Adrienne Albert (president, The Marketing Directors, Inc.); Costas Kondylis Costas Kondylis and Partners, LLP, is an architectural firm headquartered in Manhattan. "We're very fortunate to have such a knowledgeable panel of experts to provide a complete picture of what is happening with residential investment and development in Manhattan," says Barry Moss, chairman of ULI's New York District Council.

The discussion will cover: how capital markets view residential investment and development; availability of such opportunities; consumer demand; sales and rental market conditions; zoning; areas for potential development; design trends; construction cost considerations; timely end-loan financing for apartment purchases; and the consumer's rent-or-buy decision-making process.

The program, which will take place at the Association of the New York Bar (42 West 44th St.), will begin with a continental breakfast and registration at 7:30. The panel discussion will start at 8 a.m. and finish by 10 a.m.
