Research participants wanted.I am currently a master of health sciences (nursing) student at the University of Otago The University of Otago (Māori: Te Whare Wānanga o Otāgo) in Dunedin is New Zealand's oldest university with over 20,000 students enrolled during 2006. , undertaking a research project titled "Role perception and professional development in practice nursing." This research aims to provide a nursing perspective on the role of the practice nurse in providing chronic disease management within the current model of service delivery; investigate the skills, experience and knowledge required for this role; and professional development frameworks and opportunities accessible to practice nurses in order to support them working in chronic disease management. The research has received ethics ethics, in philosophy, the study and evaluation of human conduct in the light of moral principles.
