Research participants wanted.I am currently a master of health sciences (nursing) student at the University of Otago The University of Otago (Māori: Te Whare Wānanga o Otāgo) in Dunedin is New Zealand's oldest university with over 20,000 students enrolled during 2006. , undertaking a research project titled "Role perception and professional development in practice nursing." This research aims to provide a nursing perspective on the role of the practice nurse in providing chronic disease management within the current model of service delivery; investigate the skills, experience and knowledge required for this role; and professional development frameworks and opportunities accessible to practice nurses in order to support them working in chronic disease management.
