On 11 May, the crew of Mustin (DDG DDG Guided Missile Destroyer

 89) rescued 27 people from the Panamanian-flagged vessel Olympias, when an engine-room fire engulfed the boat in the northern Arabian Gulf. Mustin's embarked helicopter from HSL-45 Det 5 arrived on scene and directed the destroyer's RHIB RHIB Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (also see RIB)  to Olympias. Mustin sailors safely transferred the mariners to the destroyer's RHIBs and then to the ship where they received food, clothing, and medical attention. They were later transferred to Carl Vinson (CVN (Card Verification Number) See CSC.  70) and then flown to Bahrain where representatives from the Indian Embassy met them for repatriation Repatriation
