On 26 January the Boston Coast Guard command center dispatched an HH-60 Jayhawk The HH-60 Jayhawk is a twin-engine medium-range search and rescue (SAR) helicopter, based on the airframe of the SH-60 Seahawk. Besides SAR, it is used for drug interdiction, cargo lift, and special operations.  helicopter and HU-25 Falcon jet in response to a distress call from five fishermen in a life boat after their vessel Tara M.J. sank in the North Atlantic.
