ResCare's Community Alternatives Illinois Operations Receive Three-Year Accreditation.

ResCare (NASDAQ/NM: RSCR), the nation's leading provider of services to persons with developmental and other disabilities and people with special needs, today announced that the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF) has awarded a three-year accreditation to ResCare's Community Alternatives Illinois (CAIL) operations. The operations provide community services, including personal and social services as well as community living services, to 88 people in 22 locations within the state.

CARF is an independent, international accreditation body that measures an organization's quality of services provided for people with developmental and other disabilities. In the accreditation summary, the Agency commended Community Alternatives Illinois operations for exemplary conformance to CARF standards in its "training program and attitude toward training."

Independent experts conducted the accreditation survey, or audit, over a number of days. They noted, "CAIL has dedicated, enthusiastic and well-qualified staff members. CAIL is complimented on the high level of intimate interaction between staff members and persons served during the provision of day-to-day services."
