If you are working on certification and are not able to purchase this book right now, we suggest you try to borrow it from a local midwife or other birth professional. People have also been successful getting this book through inter-library loan, if their local library doesn't have it. For Labor Assistants, you can submit your required reading list stating that Understanding Diagnostic Tests was not available. Childbirth Educators may have a harder time, as some of the learning activity questions refer directly to the book.
