Repositioning the Capitol Plaza leaves Levin holding Ace card.


The Grand Openings of Ace Hardware and Rite Aid Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD) is a United States retailer and pharmacy chain, operating over 5,000 stores in 31 states and the District of Columbia. Rite Aid Corporation is one of the nation's leading drugstore chains.  highlight Levin Management Corporation's successful renovation and repositioning of Capitol Plaza in Bangor, Pa.

Ace Hardware anchors the revitalized center, leasing nearly 16,000 s/f previously occupied by an Acme Supermarket. Rite Aid, a former inline tenant of Capitol Plaza, has returned to the center on a new 11,000 s/f pad with a drive-through pharmacy.

The center's new tenant roster also includes Dollar General, Gianni, National Auto Stores, Quest Diagnostics, Washington Pet and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital.

Located on State Highway 512/ Penargyl Road, approximately 25,000 vehicles pass by on a daily basis. Within a five-mile radius of the shopping center, the average household income continues to rise rapidly and is projected to hit $60,986 by 2010, a 10.4% jump from 2005. Over the last five years, the number of households has increased by 7.1 percent, reaching 11,158, and is expected to hit 11,787 by 2010, an additional 5.6 percent increase.

In 2005 Levin successfully renovated and repositioned St. Georges Crossing, a 317,471 s/f center in Woodbridge, N.J., and The Mayfair Shopping Center, a Waldbaums-anchored, 214,625 s/f property located in Commack, New York Commack is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 36,367 at the 2000 census.

Commack is partly in the Town of Huntington and the Town of Smithtown. It is located on Long Island.

Levin is currently repositioning the retail portion of the Gale Company's Princeton Forrestal Village, a mixed-use facility in Princeton, New Jersey
