Rentar Fuel Savings and Emission Reductions Confirmed at Texas Independent Research Laboratory.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Rentar Environmental Solutions, Inc., a US EPA US EPA United States Environmental Protection Agency  Energy Star Partner, recently completed an extensive study on fuel economy and emission reductions at an independent research laboratory in San Antonio, Texas “San Antonio” redirects here. For other uses, see San Antonio (disambiguation).
San Antonio is the second most populous city in Texas, the third most populous metropolitan area in Texas, and is the seventh most populous city in the United States. As of the 2006 U.S.
. The testing was performed by the Heavy-Duty Technology Assessment Section of the Department of Emissions Research in the Automotive Products and Emissions Research Division.

The confirmed fuel savings were within the range previously experienced by the Rentar Fuel Catalyst at other independent laboratories. Statistically significant reductions in NOx and CO2 levels were also measured. All testing was performed using the transient EPA EPA eicosapentaenoic acid.

Rentar projects that a two percent fuel reduction for an over the road truck could save the average fleet vehicle driving 100,000 miles a year $900. At that rate, the catalyst would pay for itself in approximately 18 months. Utilizing the Rentar lease plan, after payments the truck would still net over $600 in reduced fuel spending the first year assuming fuel costs of $1.80/gal and 4mpg.

Joel Ratner, President of Rentar says, "Our fuel savings numbers coming from the preeminent fuel and emission lab in the country can only solidify our place in the market. The fuel savings recognized in Texas is a huge savings with diesel fuel prices nearing $2 a gallon nationwide." Mr. Ratner continued, "we are also extremely pleased with the emissions reductions established especially in light of the cleanliness of the test engine which had baseline emission levels well below the EPA's regulated levels."
