Reno rocks with recreation: discover the home of this year's NRPA Congress & Exposition in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.


Every year, NRPA NRPA National Recreation and Park Association
NRPA Natural Resources Protective Association (Staten Island, NY)
NRPA Niagara Regional Police Association (Canada)
NRPA National Rifle and Pistol Association
 picks a new locale (programming) locale - A geopolitical place or area, especially in the context of configuring an operating system or application program with its character sets, date and time formats, currency formats etc.

Locales are significant for internationalisation and localisation.
 to host the annual Congress that not only offers the right hotels and conference centers, but shows a side of parks and recreation that will inspire participants. This year is no different. As park and recreation agencies send their leaders to learn, discover and mingle at the field's biggest conference, the entire Lake Tahoe area including Reno and Sparks, will welcome them with open arms.

Although most of participants' time will be spent in educational sessions learning about best practices, or on the exhibit floor exploring the latest in park and recreation products, Congress is also about enjoying time with colleagues, and taking a moment to enjoy the landscapes around them.

On the following pages, attendees will open the world of the Sierra Nevadas Sierra Nevada, mountain range, Spain
