RENNISON, Louisa. Away laughing on a fast camel; even more confessions of Georgia Nicolson The "Confessions of Georgia Nicolson" series is a popular Chick lit series for teens written by Louise Rennison. It features the life of a young teenage girl, Georgia, as she complains about school, is attracted to good-looking boys and is frustrated with the strangeness of the . Oh, the "heartbreakousity"! Georgia's boyfriend, also known as the Sex God has gone off to "Kiwi-a-go-go-land" (New Zealand), and she is miserable--that is, until she lays eyes on "really really gorgy [gorgeous]" Masimo, the new lead singer for the Stiff Dylans. Unfortunately her false eyelashes (aka "boy entrancers") become stuck together when she goes to one of Masimo's performances, and he thinks she is stuck up when she is merely temporarily blinded, but in the end they go out together. She may be boy crazy, but "snogging" (kissing) is pretty much the limit here. Georgia's funny glossary at the end explains British slang for the benefit of American readers. Paula Rohrlick, KLIATT
