Renesas Technology Gets up to 2X Design Productivity Increase With Cadence Virtuoso NeoCircuit; Over 30 Designs Completed Using Cadence Methodology.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CDNS) today announced that Renesas Technology Corp., a leading provider of electronics for multimedia, mobile, communication and automotive applications, has successfully deployed the Virtuoso(R) NeoCircuit mixed-signal optimization technology into its production design flow. The Virtuoso NeoCircuit optimizer enabled Renesas to shorten design turnaround time, improve design quality and build a new culture of analog IP reuse within the company.

This, in conjunction with a tight integration of Virtuoso Spectre, provides a powerful solution in Renesas's design flow that has been proven on over 30 designs.
