, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Catch Scuba Tour Fever! The movie 'The Life Aquatic,' is bringing scuba diving and the underwater world into the public eye and The Scuba Tour provides a free and convenient way to see firsthand what diving is really all about.

The Scuba Tour will stop in Chicago from January 12th to 16th, 2005 at Chicagolands Outdoor Show / Our World Underwater at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is a convention center for Rosemont, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Built in 1975, the center has exhibition space of 840,000 sq ft (0 m).  (5555 North River Road, Rosemont). People trying out the sport of scuba diving FREE in the 4 feet deep, 40 x 20 foot scuba pool provides great visuals and TV stations are invited to put reporters/anchors and/or their children over 10 into the pool for a fun and unique segment.

A dip in the Scuba Pool is FREE for any show attendee age 10+ and anyone who takes a dip in the pool "Dip in the Pool" is a short story by Roald Dahl that appeared in the 1953 collection Someone Like You. Plot Summary
On a cruise ship, there is a betting pool each day where guests try to correctly guess the amount of miles that the ship will travel each day, within ten miles
 receives a free photo of themselves taken underwater and free Scuba Tour t-shirt. Scuba participants can also try out of some of the latest in scuba equipment, including an underwater MP3 player, Sea Doo underwater "scooter" and color-correcting vision masks. All equipment and instruction from a certified dive instructor are provided along with towels, mirrors and hair dryers.

The Scuba Tour is a Diving & Equipment Marketing Association (DEMA Founded in 1976 as the Data Entry Management Association, it later changed its name to the Association for Input Technology and Management. In 1993, it merged with TAWPI. ) program that travels around North America introducing people to scuba diving. In 2004, The Scuba Tour made stops at numerous events throughout North America and over 12,000 people took the plunge to experience the safe and fun sport of scuba diving firsthand.
