She and I found every opportunity to practice, including in empty, cavernous parking garages (good for amplifying her voice when singing along with the car radio or simulating Robbins' choreography from the recently released West Side Story). We also crashed high school proms so we could take center stage and invent and display social dance and jazz moves.
