Reloaded, lesbian-style.

Apparently there's gay action within the Matrix, even if it's virtual. Enter the Matrix, a mind-blowing video game-movie hybrid that ties into The Matrix's sequels, Reloaded and Revolutions, features a steamy lesbian smooch.

Gamers can play as either Ghost (Anthony Wong) or Niobe (Jada Pinkett Smith), two supporting characters from the films. As Neo does in a scene from Reloaded, they encounter Persephone (Monica Bellucci), an affection-starved trophy wife willing to assist their quest--in exchange for a deep, loving kiss.

Playing as Niobe, you initially put up resistance to the vamp's same-sex kiss request. "Are you afraid to kiss a woman?" Persephone teases. But Niobe acquiesces with a pair of lingering, close-up lip locks.

Asked if she likes this aspect of the game, Bellucci tells The Buzz, "My character, Persephone, loves this aspect of the game. She is a vampire for affection! As for me, I like the idea of freedom in every aspect of life, so yes."

And who's the best kisser--Neo, Ghost, or Niobe? "Whether real or virtual, they are all good kissers in their own way," she remarks evenhandedly. "Kisses are like snowflakes; each one is uniquely different."
