Religious scholars urged to play role for establishment of peace.

MUZAFFARGARH, July 25, 2009 (Balochistan Times) -- Religious scholars should play their vital role in establishing peace and religious harmony in the country, said Allama Syed Sajjad Saeed Kazmi, a central leader of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat, on Saturday. He said religious scholars command deep respect among the masses and the latter take Ulemas sermons very seriously. He called upon the Ulema to propagate peace and tranquillity in the society. He said those so-called Taliban who are involved in acts of terrorism are not true Muslims, rather they are serving interests of their foreign masters who are our enemies. Allama Sajjad Kazmi said that the murder of Allama Sarfraz Naeemi is a great loss to the Muslim Ummah as it is difficult to fill the vacuum created by his assassination. He called upon the government to nab the killers of Allama Naeemi at the earliest and award them deterrent punishment.
