Its separate existence as an American ecclesiastical body with its own episcopate began in 1789. Handel's famous oratorio oratorio (ôrətôr`ēō), musical composition employing chorus, orchestra, and soloists and usually, but not necessarily, a setting of a sacred libretto without stage action or scenery. with the Resurrection Evensong Choir and soprano soprano [Ital.,=above], female voice of highest pitch. The three basic types of solo soprano are coloratura, lyric, and dramatic. The coloratura has a great range and impressive vocal agility; the lyric soprano has a light, pretty voice; and the dramatic soprano has Misook Yun, bass Jack Davidson and trumpet player Dave Bender.
