Reimagining the World Trade Center. (Visions).


SOME OF THE WORLD'S LEADING ARCHITECTS have unveiled designs for rebuilding Ground Zero, the site of New York's World Trade Center. As these three architectural renderings Architectural rendering, or architectural illustration, is the art of creating two-dimensional images showing the attributes of a proposed architectural design. Traditional rendering techniques are taught in a "master class" practice (such as the École des Beaux-Arts), where  show, the proposals vary greatly. Some instantly recall the twin towers destroyed in the Sept. 11. 2001. terrorist attacks, while others envision a much different skyline. Four of the designs include what would be the tallest building in the world. One plan (above) boasts public gardens: another (right) is intended to evoke e·voke

Sport of flying a glider or sailplane. The craft is towed behind a powered airplane to an altitude of about 2,000 ft (600 m) and then released.
 pair of gates. All incorporate some kind of memorial to the nearly 2,800 people who died in the attack, though the scale of the memorial is still a hot topic of debate.
