For the record, patients at the Betty Ford Center do not clean toilets or sweep floors. That false statement was made by the operator of a Malibu rehab spa and appeared in your Dec. 4 article, "High-End Dry."

Our patients do assist in keeping communal coffee pots A coffee pot is a kitchen implement; a cooking pot in the kettle family. A coffee pot is also a container to hold freshly brewed coffee. There are many types and styles.  full, and do hang up their own clothes in their own closets. But professional housekeepers clean the nine buildings (five of which are residence halls) on our 20-acre campus.

We are very different than the Malibu rehab spas graphically described in your article. That difference begins with us being a not-for-profit Not-for-profit
