"We believe that the current market is not properly valuing register.com," said Richard D. Forman, President and Chief Executive Officer of register.com.

On July 27, register.com filed a registration statement for an offering of 4.0 million shares of common stock, of which 3.5 million were to be offered and sold by selling shareholders. The shares were to have been offered by an underwriting group managed by Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, Thomas Weisel Partners Thomas Weisel Partners Group, Inc.
