Regional filmmakers of Ladakh trying to make a mark.

Byline: ANI

Leh, Nov 6 (ANI): Fighting all odds, the regional filmmakers of Ladakh are hopeful that they will be able to create a niche for themselves in the film industry.

Inspired largely by Bollywood song and dance movies, Ladakhi films are shot on a modest budget of anywhere between rupees 100 thousand to rupees one million.

The crew of these movies is drawn from regular job goers, who do not have any professional training.

"The crew of our films including actors and director are not professional. In spite of in opposition to all efforts of; in defiance or contempt of; notwithstanding.
