Regional dean elected in Western Newfoundland.


Canon Percy David Coffin, 50, was elected on June 21 to be the fourth diocesan bishop of Western Newfoundland. Currently serving as regional dean for the Humber area and rector of All Saints church All Saints Church, or All Saints' Church or variations on the name may refer to: Australia

 in Corneal Brook, Nfld., Mr. Coffin was one of 11 nominees. He was elected after 10 ballots.

Bishop-elect Coffin was born and raised in Joe Batt's Arm, Nfld. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in 1983 from Memorial University and a master of divinity Noun 1. Master of Divinity - a master's degree in religion
