BANDON

Library gets grant: The Paul G. Allen Charitable Foundation of Seattle has given a $75,000 grant for the new Bandon Public Library.

The Bandon Library Development Foundation is preparing a construction bid package for release in early January. Ground breaking is planned for March of next year, pending approval of other major grants, officials said.
