Reggie Bush Talks Exclusively to FHM Magazine's FHMUS.com; Reggie Bush, Football's Hottest Prospect, Talks about His Political Aspirations, Snoop Dog, President Bush and, Oh Yeah...the NFL Draft.

NEW YORK -- "It's an exciting time right now, and I'm just preparing myself for what's ahead. I work out every day and I try to deal with the public relations side of things as well," says Reggie Bush in one of the few interviews he has granted in the last few months as he prepares for the NFL draft next week. Bush tells FHMUS.com sports writer Sonny Amato his thoughts about Houston and its first round pick in the draft: "The first thing that comes to mind is Texas has no state tax - that could really come in handy."

Given that all eyes will be on him at the draft, Bush says he's going to play it conservative with his wardrobe. "I'm definitely not going to wear something crazy - no top hats or anything like that. That's definitely not me."

FHMUS.com's interview with Bush is one of the running back's most wide-ranging:

On whether he has political aspirations: "Actually, I was a political science major, so I think it's a possibility. I've got some work ahead of me first, though."

On his team's visit to the White House and meeting President Bush: "He told me I should feel right at home in the White House because of my last name and especially with my nickname being 'The President.'"

On whether Snoop Dog, who hung out at a USC practice before the Rose Bowl, gave him on-the-field advice: "Nah, Snoop is a rapper - he doesn't know anything about football! No offense to Snoop, I'm just joking around. But he didn't' try to give us too much advice. He's a huge fan of USC and it was great to have him out there to be a part of that - not only for us, but for him as well. He had a great time and we liked having him there."

On the players he admired when he was growing up: "I used to watch Marshall Faulk all the time because I grew up around the corner from San Diego State. I used to watch both Marshall and Eddie George when they were in college. Marshall was great to watch, though, because for his size, he was so tough yet so versatile. He brought something new to the game....Of course, there were also greats like Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders - those are two guys any running back would want to be like."

Bush, whose father was a security officer and whose mom was a deputy sheriff in a prison, tells FHMUS.com he "can't remember ever really trying to get away with anything. I was pretty much a good kid growing up. I really didn't have a choice!"
