Regency Hospital of Odessa is pleased to announce the development of two new healthcare services offered to the West Texas community. Working in concert with its medical and clinical staff Regency Hospital of Odessa is introducing inpatient kidney dialysis Dialysis, Kidney Definition

Dialysis treatment replaces the function of the kidneys, which normally serve as the body's natural filtration system.
 along with a High Observation Patient Unit.

The inpatient kidney dialysis service will allow Regency to admit critically ill patients who require hemodyalsis as part of their treatment regiment. This service will be provided by the Fresenius Dialysis dialysis (dīăl`ĭsĭs), in chemistry, transfer of solute (dissolved solids) across a semipermeable membrane.  and video monitoring equipment, was designed to closely monitor acutely ill patients who require extra oversight and care. Regency offers 1 to 3 nurse/patient ratio which will assure that patients within this unit receive the most intense level of care and treatment.
