, one cold winter's day many years ago. She spent time, effort, and lots of energy to stand in the VERY cold open garage of the volunteer fire department to give information on Indiana 2016, and a new program she was starting called Communities Building Community. Judy O'Bannon was the dinner speaker for the Indiana Grantmakers Alliance on November 8, 2007, and I was so honored to be able to see her in person and looked forward eagerly to hearing her speak.

What a lady! What an inspiration of leadership and Hoosier Hospitality!

During her speech Mrs. O'Bannon not only mentioned the ongoing, Emmy-Award Winning Communities Building Community series but specifically pointed me out by name and profession to this huge group of philanthropists from all across our nation and state!
