Recycling older computers.


While dumping old computers may be the easy way to get rid of clutter, doing so does not help the environment nor make the world a better place. Instead, why not consider the option offered by the Nonprofit A corporation or an association that conducts business for the benefit of the general public without shareholders and without a profit motive.

Nonprofits are also called not-for-profit corporations. Nonprofit corporations are created according to state law.

Go to www.recycles.org and click on "contact" to make a request. You will receive an e-mail response that provides information about donating equipment, what type of equipment is acceptable, how to correct donation information after it has been submitted, and so forth.

Clicking on "donate used equipment" provides access to a simple donation form. Note: Donors' e-mail address See Internet address.
