Recoton's InterAct Subsidiary to Display GameShark Product Line At Toys R Us Stores; New Times Square Store in New York Will Feature GameShark Kiosk.

InterAct Accessories, Inc., a Recoton Corporation (NASDAQ:RCOT) company, will be one of a few selected vendors to have a permanent free-standing kiosk at the new Toys R Us (NYSE: TOY), which will be the world's largest toy store, scheduled to open this Fall at Times Square in New York.

The kiosk, which is designed exclusively to showcase the entire GameShark(R) product line, will feature a state of the art multimedia display that will provide interactive demonstrations of GameShark in action.

InterAct will also feature the GameShark product line in end cap displays at over 450 Toys R Us stores throughout the country. The GameShark CODECENTER displays, located in the R-Zone section, will feature the latest GameShark products and will be updated on a quarterly basis.

InterAct's GameShark kiosk occupies a four-foot by four-foot area in the Times Square Toys R Us R-Zone. The kiosk stands eight-feet tall and holds 264 units of GameShark merchandise. By utilizing the 17" touch screen and two 20" slave monitors housed in the kiosk, Toys R Us shoppers may view a brief demonstration of GameShark in action on their favorite game for any of the six major gaming platforms. To initiate a demonstration of GameShark, the shopper will first select a gaming platform, then select a game and the demo will begin. The shopper will see a full motion video of GameShark in action, utilizing codes for unlimited ammo, indestructible characters or similar enhanced actions.
