Recording studio moves to LIC.


Long Island City can now add Rocket Rehearsal to its growing list of production and recording studios.

 (S&Z) has negotiated a 9,000 s/f lease for the studio at 33-06 37th Avenue, announces S&Z chairman Sanford Zuckerbrot.

"When Rocket Rehearsal's Manhattan landlord decided to convert the four-story walk-up industrial building on West 36th Street into a residential property, the firm set its sights on a clean, high ceiling, one-story facility in Long Island City," said S&Z managing director Joseph Eliasoph, who represented the tenant.

"The new building provides incredible efficiencies for both their instrument/equipment rental business and their recording studios."
