Record year from MIPIM/AR Future Project Awards.More than 170 entries were received for this year's MIPIM MIPIM - Marché International des Professionnels d'Immobilier/AR Future Project Awards, which were exhibited at the MIPIM property event in Cannes last month; the winning projects were presented by their architects at a half-day symposium, and the best-of-show award was present at the offical MIPIM awards ceremony. Hinrich Schumacher of Ingenhoven Overdiek & Partner accepted the award for the Stuttgart rail station project, which recently received its final approvals after a seven-year planning and regulatory process. The judging panel, chaired by Paul Finch, comprised Peter Stewart, director of design review at the UK government's Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment, architect and developer Roger Zogolovitch, and architect Bryan Avery.
