Recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Prevention Magazine:Online Interactive Breast Cancer Quilt Honors the Women We Love.

 -- Prevention magazine has launched its second annual online interactive breast cancer quilt in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month. At the web site, people affected by breast cancer can create their own "patch" with a personal message of inspiration, encouragement, or remembrance.

Prevention created the quilt last year, and in an overwhelming response to this tribute, more than 3,500 people contributed patches for the inaugural quilt.

Messages on the patches can range from simple notes to longer dedications. Some have been addressed to just "Mom" or "My Sister," while others are proudly dedicated to "All People" and "All Women of the World." There are even some quilt patches dedicated to high-profile personalities, including Sheryl Crow and Elizabeth Edwards Elizabeth Edwards (born Mary Elizabeth Anania on July 3, 1949, in Jacksonville, Florida) is an attorney. Her husband, John Edwards, was a U.S. Senator from North Carolina, the 2004 United States Democratic vice-presidential nominee, and is a candidate for the Democratic . Messages from this year's quilt include:

* "Live for today, and FIGHT for tomorrow! Please know that you are loved by many and you are always in our prayers."

* "You fought the battle like you enjoyed life. With commitment and the sense that you would be stronger for the adventure. Your spirit soared and lives in all you touched. You are missed dearly."

* "I am dedicating this patch to my entire family of women. Three of them have battled with breast cancer, and the rest of us live in fear. Don't sweat the small stuff Sweat the Small Stuff is a standup comedy special performed by Kevin James of King of Queens. It has been seen on Comedy Central and released on DVD. Kevin performs hilarious standup on various subjects based on annoyances of everyday life, hence the title. , and be grateful for each day."

* "You fought so hard to win the battle. I will always remember your joy, your tears, and your hopes for the future."
